MS/PRO/Duo/PRO Duo crashing my computer with Sony 8 MB stick.

I still have a first generation digital camera with the old 8 MB Sony stick. I can plug the camera to my computer and get the files that way, but was just curious why this stick crashes my new Win 7 system each time I plug it in and go to the pictures location?

I've tried updating the software and re-installing it, but same exact thing each time.

Any suggestions? Thanks.
