Hi,
I have received two e-mails recently, which have no attachment icon in the title, but - surprise! The e-mail itself has an attachment.
Any ideas anyone...?
Thanks,
Naomi

What email client are you using? Windows Live Mail, Outlook 2003, 2007, 2010? Mozilla ThunderBird?

ok, if you go to the "view" menu, and choose "current view" -> "customise current view", and choose the "fields" button you should see a list of columns. On the right-hand side, under the heading "show these fields in this order", is the "attachment" field listed there?

Sure is. Most e-mails with attachments show the attachment icon, just a couple don't...

hmm, if it works ok for most email, but for a few specific emails it doesn't show, I suspect the issue is not caused by your system/email client, but by something in the sender's system/the specific makeup of the emails in question.

OK... If you come up with any ideas of anything I could check, please share them with me...

Thanks,

Naomi
