I have a router and tried to set it up but it did not work. can somebody give me the steps since it may have been my mistake during the set up.

Hi rigs -

Did you get the router from your ISP or did you purchase it yourself ?
If you purchased it there will be, at least, some basic instructions on setting it up.

What part of the setting up are you having problems with ? Have you contacted your ISP to configure the settings ?

Please list the router make and model.
