Howdy,

Windows XP is not detecting my DVD drive. I notice that during boot-up, my BIOS detects the drive on the Secondary IDE Master. But windows refuses. Anybody got ideas?

what dvd drive do you have?

go to control panes, administrator tools, drive manager. see if the dvd drive has a drive letter assignted to it. I may not or have one conflicting with another drive letter.
