I was playing my ps3 and one day my controller shut off, it wouldn't reconnect at all, then the image on the screen began spinning and my ps3 froze. After restarting it, my controller wouldn't connect and i found out it was because my usb port was dead. I read online that i should turn on my system, take out my cables, take out my hard drive, plug the cables back in and restart my ps3. I did it and i had power back to my usb ports. However, every time i turn it on again i need to repeat that process all over again because the ports go back to being dead, so i have to revive them again before i play. Also, when i do finally get the usb port some life, my controller takes a long time to connect on the cable, and when it does connect and i take it off the usb cable, it takes up to 4 mins to connect, and sometimes it won't even connect. I know this is because of my system because the same controller works perfectly on my friends system. Also when i do try and play for a while, my ps3 is slower, and it freezes after a while. Lastly. after i finally got the usb ports life, i went and restored my default settings and ever since i did that my ps3 won't pick up my wireless router so now i have no internet connection. I also know this is the system's fault because my friend's ps3 connected to my wifi in seconds. Please help! I have a lot of things going on and i have no idea what is wrong.
