I recently re-installed windows XP into my PC. Everything is running great. I bought new basic logitech speakers, but the computer is not recognizing them. I am guessing the driver isn't installed, but not sure where to find it? When I go to the control panel, it isn't showing any audio device, nor will the "find new hardware" tool find them. Any help would be great. Thx

Hi higby88
You need to provide information about your computer, this includes is it a laptop or desktop, is it a custom build or brand name such as Dell or HP and if it is provide the model name or series number + any add on sound card details if applicable.

I bought new basic logitech speakers, but the computer is not recognizing them. I am guessing the driver isn't installed

The audio chip or add on audio card require the drivers not the speakers.

When I go to the control panel, it isn't showing any audio device, nor will the "find new hardware" tool find them.

Meaning that no audio chip or add on sound card have been enabled/installed, provide the requested information so that we can offer the appropriate suggestion/s.
