Webcam is dark

Ok, my webcam was working fine, but i installed a new software for it. The video was darker there so i changed it back. Now it is totally dark. When i but a fashlight in fron of the camera it shows the light but nothing else. Its like i am in a pitch black room. And its the same with every software i have tried to use later on. How can i make it show everything it should again?

i included the picture. i am in a very bright room but the video is all dark.
