HP Cheap Tablets?

Hey guys, I heard from a friend of mine in my MIS department that he bought his HP tablet with Windows 7 for $100. To my knowledge, it runs on the Intel Atom processor, it has 2GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage (non-moving parts). So, what are your thoughts on it? I am looking into buying one and right now, it is pretty appealing in my eye.
