Windows 7 crash dump

I have a fairly new laptop that is now doing crash dumps which restart the comp. I gathered the following info from the log thing it brought up upon restart.
Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen

This could be a hardware/driver problem. Open the Control Panel > Action Center > Maintenance > Reliability Monitor and look at the historical log of errors. The BSODs will be under "system" errors.
