Hey, i got the same problem as Prodigal88, i have Norton Anti-Virus, and it keeps shutting down when i try to scan or just try and activate it, i got this file after accepting a file in MSN Messenger, i double clicked it and boom, Anti Virus got ******, i delete the file that seemed to be the problem ip.config, i had about 2-3 of those which i deleted, i prolly deleted the "alright" one too, but i got my system working again after a shutdown, but my Anti Virus is still ******, and i cant go into "Kør the danish word for it, it is prolly called something like go or something ?" well i tried to type in msconfig, so i could start in fail safe mode, but it shut down the window before i could do anything and it just kept on doing so, so im pretty annoyed atm, ANY help would be appreciated, i will start by doing what the rest have posted, Sorry for the long post, just can't stop when i get started
btw, how many csrss files are u supposed to have in ur windows folder ?
