Hey, I've had my computer for about a year or so and now, I'm coming up with high CPU usage ranging from 60 to 100% all the time. It says Java is using a lot if I'm using something that runs on it. It started a few months ago when my compute wouldn't even start. There would be a 50 50 chance of it starting. It would display a black screen for an infinite amout of time. To get the screen to stop I'd have to unplug it and run startup repairs. It still does that but not as much. Please help.

Sadly, we know nothing about your system, except it might run Vista, or Windows 7.

Have you scanned for malware?

Have you uninstalled all older versions of Java (see JavaRA)?

Any errors in device manager?
