(Sorry if this is under the wrong topic.)
I need to system restore my laptop but I don't have a CD, It was done once before but I wasn't the one who did it so I don't know how to now.
I have a Compaq Presario CQ50 running Windows Vista Home Basic.

Hi Smores96 and :)
Can I ask why you wish to restore the factory settings/system restore is the laptop having issues?
As you do not have any kind of disk there is a strong possibility that there is a recovery partition on the HDD, next time you power up try tapping the F11 key and hopefully you will find a recovery partition, if you do follow the on screen instructions, some information to help you http://h20000.www2.h...09678#RecoverOS
I hope that this helps you to achieve the task and please let us know how it goes or if we can assist you in any way.
