i have a dell latitude c610 powered by windows xp pro service pack3 version 2002, WEP, it has a dell truemobile 1150 series wireless LAN mini PCI card and can read network connections but when i got to get on it via wifi it says "windows was unable to find certificate..." however i can connect to the internet via eithernet cord

ive tired these steps so far:
-turned off firewire and all security
-Run/cmd thing and it said- "media disconnected"
-Reset TCP/IP stack to installation defaults, type: netsh int ip reset reset.log
than Reset WINSOCK entries to installation defaults, type: netsh winsock reset catalog
(tho nothing happened when i did the first cmd...idk if something was)
-reinstall the Dell True Mobile 1150 Series Mini-PCI Card driver
-ive tried to readd, create a new network connection
-and i uncheck the IEEE 802.1x box (but when i did this the message changed from "unable to find certificate..." to "little or no connectivity"
-i also downloaded winsockxp (this said it fixed the problem but nothing has changed)

someone told me to take out and put the wireless card back in,he lost me at the black and white wires part, i know nothing about computers or laptops at all lol if someone has any ideas on how to fix it plz help thanks :)
