I am having problem with my laptop and brought new hdd of 350 gb,now my system says no operating system found. I have recovery disk purchased from sony then i get error 333 when trying to recover. Please help me

Hello, and welcome to Geeks to go !

Sony VAIOs have a hidden recovery partition which can be accessed by pressing F10 on booting. I was wondering if you tried that on the old Hard drive, or was it to far gone to even attempt it?

There appears to be little information on the 333 Error.

I did find this on the Sony Support forum,

333 error in some cases is a memory error. Try pulling one of the RAM modules and trying the format again.
