I'm running Win XP and suddenly am having a problem getting a wireless connection.

Firstly I'm not getting any available network connections showing under wireless network connections.
Device manager tells me there is nothing wrong with the adapter.
When trying to start the Wireless Zero Configuration it 'starts' and then 'stops' returning the follwing "The Wireless Zero Configuration service on local computer started and then stopped. Some Services stop automatically if they are not in use by another services or programs."

Could someone please advise what can be done?
