Sweep is from http://www.wavget.com/sweep.html
and after many years of using it mine has become corrupt.
I am using XP and IE8
I cannot find it in the add/remove program
I searched the registry for any sweep files and deleted them.
Also went to the sweep folder in the program files folder on c drive and deleted

When sweep was loaded for the 1st time on 2 other computers along with the same data file all worked fine. This means the data file is not the problem. When this was done on my computer I still had the same problems so assume I still have a corrupt file on my computer.

Any suggestions please?

Download and install Revo Uninstaller
  • Double click the Revo Uninstaller icon on your desktop to start the program
  • Scroll through the listed programs and Right Click on the program you wish to uninstall
  • From the pop out menu choose Uninstall
  • Click Yes to the confirmation dialogue
  • In the next window select the Advanced mode
  • Click Next to start uninstalling the program
  • Answer Yes to confirm the uninstall
  • When the program has completed the four steps, click Next to allow the program to search for leftovers
  • Once complete, click Next, then Finish
  • Repeat the above steps for any other programs you wish to remove.
