Canno connect to iTunes store

Hi,
I bought a new ipad2. I am new to apple products.. I am having an issue coonecting to itune store; however I can connect to apps store and download apps without any hassles.

when I try connecting to itune store it simply says cannot connect to itune stores. Can you please help me with this..
