i got 4 sticks of ram in there and the fan is very clean.

computer is still freezing up. both in and out of safe mode.

is there an actual way to fix this?

by the way the link doesnt work. but i already downloaded the drivermax anyway, it just never actually updated anything for me. it had me install pdf reader and then that was it. I think that was on page 4.

update: I am now on my parents computer because my own computer can no longer remain up long enough to do anythng on it before it freezes. The problem has grown worse and now it is no longer usable.

What can I do now?

Try with one stick of ram at a time.Run the computer for a while and if it does not freeze, add another stick and continue in this way until you get a freeze if you do.

Ok continue testing each stick of ram if you get one that doesnt cause the pc to freeze, then add another one until it does freeze if it does.

It froze on the second one almost right after it booted up Windows. I couldn't run anything. There was no time.

Ok set that one by itself so you know which one are not working.Keep going.

EDIT: Lay each stick of ram on a piece of paper individually and write what happened when you tried them on the piece of paper.
