First attempt to install MS Word 2010 on fresh install of Windows 7 (for some reason, Windows stopped working in VMware after Apple Lion upgrade so successfully reinstalled Windows 7) within VMware on an Apple desktop stalled when it was trying to register the program online

I cancelled out of the install, but the program did not run successfully after a reboot.

So now I have the install disc, but when I try to reinstall, it runs for a minute then the error message says "Setup has stopped working." Nor can I uninstall the partially installed version. The error message says it's not in the right language. I can't think of anything else to do but do another reinstall of Windows and start over; but I don't know why it would go any differently next time.

Will I ever be able to RE-install and register the program online since it was installed and registered with this Product Key (on this same computer) before?

Thanks so much!
