What specs will run the Sims 3 with no lag or glitches?

I have an acer ax1420G-U5832 just wondering what would be a good enough graphics card to run the Sims 3 on high with no lag or glitches.
I'm not sure if the graphics card is the problem or if I need more ram only have 4gb if anyone can give me advice I'f appreciate it.

You do not need to upgrade the RAM, but it would be ideal to upgrade the graphics card, could you please post your system specs, including Graphics, motherboard and Power Supply.
