i got a black screen on my desktop saying im in danger.
i try scan with ad-aware se, spybot SD , spyware doctor but still cant remove it

i already delete:
-popuper.exe
-sites.ini

Hi silentser,

I have received a sample of hookdump.exe in the meantime and it is the main cause of the hijack as we suspected


*Click Here to download Killbox by Option^Explicit.
*Extract the program to your desktop and double-click on its folder, then double-click on Killbox.exe to start the program.
*In the killbox program, select the Delete on Reboot option.
*Put a checkmark in the "End Explorer Shell While Killing File"
C:\WINDOWS\system32\hookdump.exe
*Return to Killbox, go to the File menu, and choose "Paste from Clipboard".

Your taskbar and desktop will shortly disappear, don't worry they'll be back.

Check the following items in HijackThis.
Close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:

O3 - Toolbar: Norton AntiVirus - {42CDD1BF-3FFB-4238-8AD1-7859DF00B1D6} - blank (file missing)
O3 - Toolbar: &Yahoo! Companion - {EF99BD32-C1FB-11D2-892F-0090271D4F88} - blank (file missing)

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Intel system tool] C:\WINDOWS\system32\hookdump.exe

Then Click on the upper edge of the screen and drag it down untill you notice a cross in the upper right corner. Click it to close the screen and you will have access to your real desktop and can change the settings.

Once you have done that, find and delete:
C:\WINDOWS\desktop.html

its kinda funny about the dekstop screen :tazz: . 1st time seeing that kinda thing
