I am getting tons of BSOD's for tcpip.sys it often happens when I am either gaming or heavily surfing the web with multiple tabs open at one time. I only have the one .dmp file I attached because I recently re-formated and installed Windows 7 Enterprise 64 bit to replace my old 32bit. But in any case here it is, any help would be amazing!

Hello Mihms06 :welcome:  :) ;)

Download BLUESCREENVIEW and install and run it to read the dump files created by windows.
Double click on BlueScreenView.exe file to run the program.
When scanning is done, go Edit>Select All.
Go File>Save Selected Items, and save the report as BSOD.txt.
Open BSOD.txt in Notepad, copy all content, and paste it into your next reply.

Would you please tell me which antivirus applications you have had previously on this machine any and all.The reason I ask is because some like to hang around after you uninstall via add remove programs and require the use of removal tools.

What kind of computer do you have exactly??Example Compaq presario c700

Download CCLEANER

Just DONT us the registry cleaner function of CCleaner unless you know what you are deleting exactly!!

Then open ccleaner hit the tools button then startup second one down below uninstall then in the bottom right hand corner of ccleaner hit save to text file.Save it to your desktop and post the startup.txt here in your next reply.

Hit the start button in lower left hand corner. Then in the run box type msconfig, then hit the services tab then put a check mark in hide microsoft services what is listed there, after hiding microsoft services? Please post back to us in a vertical list.

Please download MINITOOLBOX When the box opens click save file, save it to the desktop and run it.

Checkmark the following boxes:

Flush Dns
List Installed Programs
List Users, Partitions and Memory size
Click Go and post the result.

Run sfc /scannow also run chkdsk /r Links explaining below.

chkdsk /r

sfc /scannow

IF THIS IS A DESKTOP Unplug the tower open up the side.Get can of compressed air and blow out the machine and reseat the ram modules video card etc,see video Plug it back in and see how it goes.WHILE YOU HAVE THE RAM AND VIDEO CARD OUT BLOW OUT THE SLOTS THAT THEY PLUG INTO.ALSO BLOW OUT THE HEAT SINK.SEE VIDEO

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AND POST ALL INFORMATION REQUESTED!! :)

I want to make one thing very clear DO NOT use the registry cleaner function of ccleaner!!

I am posting only while rockmilk is offline to assist you with chkdsk and scannow.

Start and in the search box type cmd when that word appears at the top of the box above right click and click run as administrator. That will solve your permissions issue.
Then follow the rest of the instructions for the chkdsk /r and the sfc /scannow

I ran both and it still has been continuing if that's what you meant. Don't think either found any errors.

Well when you ran system file check it would have told you the results - it would have said either no errors in system files were found OR it would have said that NOT all errors could be fixed.

and when you ran the chkdsk /r the results would have been on the screen, before it rebooted automatically.

For the chkdsk go event viewer, and on the left pane, expand windows logs, click application., when that loads in the main window
On the right pane, click Find
Type chkdsk in the box and click find next.
When that loads in the main window, click details, read the results.

THANK YOU.

Sorry for the late reply I have been busy the past few days, with the holidays and all.

Yes HKCU:Run Advanced SystemCare 5 "C:\Program Files (x86)\IObit\Advanced SystemCare 5\ASCTray.exe" /AutoStart

Yes HKLM:Run Adobe ARM "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\ARM\1.0\AdobeARM.exe"

Yes HKLM:Run BCU "C:\Program Files (x86)\DeviceVM\Browser Configuration Utility\BCU.exe"
Yes HKLM:Run NUSB3MON "C:\Program Files (x86)\Renesas Electronics\USB 3.0 Host Controller Driver\Application\nusb3mon.exe"

Yes HKLM:Run SearchSettings "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Spigot\Search Settings\SearchSettings.exe"
Yes HKLM:Run StartCCC "C:\Program Files (x86)\ATI Technologies\ATI.ACE\Core-Static\CLIStart.exe" MSRun

Uninstall the programs listed below.
Advanced SystemCare 5 (Version: 5.0.0)
IObit Toolbar v4.9 (Version: 4.9)

Please download TFC by Old Timer and save it to your desktop.

Also please get the following information to me ASAP.

Hit the start button in lower left hand corner. Then in the run box type msconfig, then hit the services tab then put a check mark in hide microsoft services what is listed there, after hiding microsoft services? Please post back to us in a vertical list.

Adobe Acrobat Update Service
AMD External Events Utility
AMD FUEL Service
Avast! Anti-Virus
Browser Configuration Utility Service
Steam Client Service

Those are the only non-microsoft ones popping up.

And I understand completely at the time I was just really frustrated because on two different occasions it BSOD on me then as soon as I got it back up and running and was bringing everything up I had up before it BSOD again. And that just aggravated me.. So I'm sorry if I seemed pushy I didn't nor haven't meant to, its just done this for a long long time and I have no idea why. Even paid someone to look at it and they didn't fix it. But I really do appreciate you guys help more than you know.

Hit start button at lower left hand corner of the screen. Then in the run box type services.msc. Find the service listed below, one at a time. left click it once you should have the option to either stop the service or restart it , stop the service then right click selected service select properties then change the startup type to manual then left click apply and move on to the next service. If the service is stopped and the startup type is manual then do nothing.

Adobe Acrobat Update Service
AMD External Events Utility
AMD FUEL Service

Browser Configuration Utility Service
Steam Client Service

After completing all of what I suggested from this post and my last post to you please let me know how things are going. :)

If you have more than one RAM module installed, try starting computer with one RAM stick at a time.

NOTE Keep in mind, the manual check listed above is always superior to the software check, listed below. DO NOT proceed with memtest, if you can go with option A

B. If you have only one RAM stick installed...
...run memtest...

1. Download - Pre-Compiled Bootable ISO (.zip). If you prefer to use the USB version then use this link USB KEY
2. Unzip downloaded /memtest86+-4.20.iso.zip file.
3. Inside, you'll find /memtest86+-4.20.iso file.
4. Download, and install ImgBurn: http://www.imgburn.com/
5. Insert blank CD into your CD drive.
6. Open ImgBurn, and click on Write image file to disc
7. Click on Browse for a file... icon:

Posted Image

8. Locate [b/memtest86+-4.20.iso[/b] file, and click Open button.
9. Click on ImgBurn green arrow to start burning bootable memtest86 CD:

Posted Image

10. Once the CD is created, boot from it, and memtest will automatically start to run. You may have to change the boot sequence in your BIOS to make it work right.

To change Boot Sequence in your BIOS

Reboot the system and at the first post screen (where it is counting up memory) start tapping the DEL button
This will enter you into the Bios\Cmos area.
Find the Advanced area and click Enter
Look for Boot Sequence or Boot Options and highlight that click Enter
Now highlight the first drive and follow the directions on the bottom of the screen on how to modify it and change it to CDrom.
Change the second drive to the C or Main Drive
Once that is done then click F10 to Save and Exit
You will prompted to enter Y to verify Save and Exit. Click Y and the system will now reboot with the new settings.

The running program will look something like this depending on the size and number of ram modules installed:

Posted Image

It's recommended to run 5-6 passes. Each pass contains very same 8 tests.

This will show the progress of the test. It can take a while. Be patient, or leave it running overnight.

Posted Image

The following image is the test results area:

Posted Image

The most important item here is the “errors” line. If you see ANY errors, even one, most likely, you have bad RAM.
