Case is ok but consider paying slightly more for a case that has removable and washable dust filters;
http://www.newegg.co...N82E16811129066
MB, CPU* and Ram** are compatible
* CPU/ read the details tab, heatsink - fan and 3 year warranty are included.
http://www.newegg.co...N82E16819103871
** Ram/ never used triple channel but for some reason it does not appear popular.
GPU http://www.newegg.co...N82E16814161377 a better option.

Could one of you guys link me to a good cooler? I'll go ahead and order that too I suppose.

PS: Please tell me all that stuff is compatible lol -_-

See above.

It would sure be faster if you contacted Newegg for that information rather than waiting for us to respond. As far as if it being possible, it depends when during order processing you cancel.

Canceled my order . I found a website that sells refurbished computers, found an HP desktop, that comes with an LCD monitor, mouse, and Keyboard. 500 GB HD, not a lot of Memory, but I can always add to it.. All of that for under $250 . It's funny how before I have the money, I have everything I want picked out, but when I get the money, It's so hard to choose!

Give me a day or so to figure this stuff out, so I can see what I want to do :upset:

Refurbished can mean anything. Is there a warranty? Legal software licenses? I would be very leery of that. Good luck.

Update...

Ordered the same case, I'll get a better one when my birthday comes around, got some different memory, same CPU, got the last video card you guys recommended, and ordered the MoBo...

In the coming days/week I will be getting the Power Supply (After I ask you guys what wattage I should need) and might be picking up another Hard Drive as well..

as long as this machine is running fine 'til March, I will be happy :D.. Then I can upgrade some stuff if I feel its needed..

Thanks all for the help, Will update you when items have been shipped.

Thanks for the update
A cautionary note, do not be tempted to use the partial new system without first upgrading the PSU, the PSUs at the attached link (in ascending order) are the minimum output required by your proposed new components http://www2.corsair....lse&vc_oc=False note the quality and performance, you do not get this with cheaper brands.

Thanks! It says the memory, video card, cpu, and motherboard shipped from New Jersey and the Case shipped from Tennessee. I live in Kentucky, so I believe ill get the case first. My tracking numbers dont work yet, but it says it may take up to 24 hours for them to start working...

I wonder if I will get my case as early as tomorrow :surrender:

Edit: Quick question, I can put the CPU,Memory,Video Card, and Motherboard in the case without the Hard Drive and Power supply, right?

Just wondering :)..

Thanks again :D

You can for safe keeping or you could open and inspect the items you do receive and then re-pack them safely until you have all components, with a new build I suggest that you assemble everything outside of the case on a large piece of cardboard for testing purposes, we can help you with this when the time is right.

Thanks for the tip! My step dad (Guy who introduced me to my first PC in 2000) said he could come over and help me build it, but I think I might build it myself, just so I can say I have built a PC haha..

I'll let you guys know when parts start arriving :).

Sweet, that will help alot!

Another Question: I am super excited about this new PC, and I am too impatient to see how big of a difference the new PC will be compared to my laptop now.

Can you guys tell me if I will notice a small, medium,or huge difference??

Current Specs (Dont laugh :D)

Dell Inspiron 1520 (LOL)
Memory: 2GB
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo CPU T5250 @ 1.50 GHz
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT
Operating System: Windows XP (Came with Vista, but Vista sucks, so installed XP).

Also, updated the main topic with the stuff I purchased, the Power Supply I posted will work, correct? (Havn't ordered it yet, just wondering before I buy it :))
