Hi There,

I have two Sony Vaio laptops. One is about 6 months old and had worked beautifully until about a month ago when it started not wanting to connect to our wireless router. It connects everywhere else just not at home. After much time on the phone with Sony and Verizon I am still nowhere near figuring out what the trouble is....in the meanwhile we have purchased a second Vaio for school and guess what??? Same connection issues. So I Googled the problem and found your forum. I tried a troubleshooting suggestion from another person with the same problem and ran some ping tests...Here are my computer specs and the results of the ping tests. Hopefully someone here will be able to help me. The information is only on one of the computers...the other one is at the Sony Store since we thought there was a hardware issue. Bottom line is that it will connect for a short time if I reset the router but then disconnects and cannot reconnect at all.

Thanks!!

Pam
