As soon as you start your malware topic and post the link to it to me I will subscribe to it also and keep a eye on what they find. I honestly think this is the root of your issues and I know they two people who have agreed to take on your malware topic are very good and will take very good care of you. I trust them completely with anyone I send their way.

Good morning, I did go to the site and read and read again their guidelines. I have to be honest with you. I really don't know what to put as to what is wrong with this machine. I really don't want to get another rebuke from someone else. I know you will help all you can and believe me when I say I so appreciate all you have done. Just apprehensive as I don't say things right and if it weren't for you, I would have not come back to Geeks at all. I do so thank you for all you have done for me. You are a very good person.

Just put possible Infection as the issue and I have already let the two techs know what is going on so they are not expecting a college theme paper on your issues.
Just run the OTL program as the tutorial instructs and attach the log to your first post for them to go through it. Their instructions are even more precise then mine and they have no problem with explaining anything you may not understand. As I said I will follow along also and message the tech with concerns you ask me about.

I see Rkinner was able to get you back up and running correctly. The malware techs are great and I am so glad he was able to resolve your issue that fast. Congratulations

Thank you so much for all you have done for me. You also helped me a bunch. My machine is running very good. I am thinking of getting foxfire but will have to go and see what I have to do to get it. Once again, thank you. You have really been a blessing for me.

Thank you, I have it downloaded now. Please don't laugh at me but when my computer was set up a man came over and set it up for me. Now do I want Foxfire as my home page? And if so, do I have to change my email address? I am so sorry to be such a mess.

No problem with your questions you have been doing great.
You do not have to make Firefox your home page if you do not want to.
Your email doesn't change because that is part of your Internet Service Provider and not the browser you use.

I am getting a message saying that my add ons are disabled. I need to go over the papers I have printed to find out what to do and also it says I must download Active X.

It will not let me install add ons. There seems to be a lot one can do to try differnt things. I was so enjoying playing with this machine and going to my web pages and getting caught up. I am beginning to think this machine does not like me.

I think I am going to have to take fox fire off here for I almost did not get online. For some reason even Internet Explorer has its add ons off also. They don't seem to mix together at all. What do you think?

I just don't know, it was working fine before I put fox fire on and now everything seems to be going crazy. I am thinking that I may just take fox fire off and see if that will fix what is wrong. You built your machine so I am quite sure it is so much better than this one is. I think I shall do it. And if it works all right maybe I will have to try WOT as Ron suggested and fox fire. What do you think? Worth a try?
