I need to automate the build process. We currently get the source code from the clients external subversion. One of the developers is doing manual builds in VS 2008, of the c++ code. I am not sure if I will need to do continuous builds in the future, but might need to. Need to keeps costs down, but can spend some money if need be. What OS to use for the build platform (I have access to all), what tool to use (scheduled and possible continuous builds). I need it to be easy to learn (for someone who has not done this before), all my experience is with Windows (InstallShield developer). I know that there are tools like "visual Build", "FinalBuilder", etc...which one to use?
