Adobe Acrobat creates PDF files with weird characters

Hi,

Whenever I try to save/print something from my Internet Explorer browswer in PDF format, the PDF created appears with some strange and random characters. Can anyone please help me with this problem? I noticed it doesn't have the same problem when I try to do this using Firefox or Google Chrome. I've attached a sample for your reference.
