I've completely tired of out of the box systems that can't be upgraded, etc. so I'm trying my hand at a roll-your-own.

Can someone look this list over and see if they spot any glaring incompatibility problems? I would really appreciate it. I'm ordering everything through Newegg as they seem to have the best overall pricing, but of course you can't talk to anyone at an online store! :tazz:

I wouldnt suggest a SATA optical drive either.

Not to say it wouldnt work but I have seen people on other sites having problems with them

They only deliver in the US and it depends on what state you live in if you get taxed or not

OMG - I didn't even notice it had the 754 Socket (duh!). Thank you, thank you :tazz:

how can you tell if a video card is not compatible?

Also, thanks for the advice on SATA and optical. Wasn't aware of that.

Its a PCI-Express graphix card http://www.newegg.co...N82E16814130215


It wont run in a AGP slot or a standard PCI slot
