When I open the spreadsheet I'm told I can't open it under high security or disable macro because there is a type of Macro (4.0 macro) that cannot be disabled or signed. Once I open under medium security there are NO macros listed. Summing empty cells gives weird results like
90
180
280
550
1,110
2,220
4,440
8,880
17,760

I copied the worksheet to a new worksheet to solve the problem only to have it come back later again and again. Also, that worksheet won't sync with a pocketPC except as a blank worksheet.

Hi CVT and welcome to geeks to go!

Close Excel and follow the instructions on the following MS KB:
How to prevent files from opening automatically in Excel

If you think you may have a virus, head over to the Malware and Spyware Cleaning Guide and you'll be cleaned up right well.

Regards,

Ax
