Hello! My first post here so sorry for makeing any mistakes.

I have recently purchased a front panel audio and usb hub for the 3.5'' bay. The usb ports work fine but I was not able to make the audio jacks work. I have this motherboard. From what i understand, this mb supports both AC97 and HD audio connectors, but i'm pretty sure that the front panel is AC97 (as, if i recall correctly, the pins 2, 7 and 8 are missing (or atleast have holes at the end), 8 being the key).

I have tried reinstallind the audio drivers, and installing the AC97 codecs from Realtek (not sure if would have changed anything but i was pretty desperate :P). Does any of you had the same issue? Or atleast some suggestions...
I'll be forever greatful :D.

Cheers.

:welcome: Roswen

The connection on your MB to the front panel is made from the AAFP connection, this may help http://www.tomshardw...-aafp-connector
Be aware that many (but not all) MBs rear ports are disabled when the the front ones are enabled.
Hope this helps and let us know how you get on.
