I get this message: "The procedure entry point SetDllDirectoryW could not be located in the dynamic link library Kernel32.dll" Whats up with that ? I inhibits me from downloading such items as Flash Player

My first thought is you have picked up some kind of malware. Go to the Virus, Spyware, Malware Removal forum, read the first post and follow instructions.

Come back here once you get a clean bill of health if you still have problems.
