In Windows 8, how do I access the Microsoft provided goodies we are all familiar with in previous versions such as paint , word pad, note pad, the Windows maintenance programs such as Disk Cleaner, defragmenter, Windows accessories, etc. There is no start menu!!]

I also found this HERE on how to install the Start button to your Win8 taskbar on the lower left that we all like. :thumbsup:
This will allow ease of access to all the programs and apps you described also.
