My Dell is having some malware issues. What happened is when I go on google, I think I got that trojan/virus that happened. It redirected a lot. My Sony Vaio was the latest casualty from it, its booting with that blue screen of death. I want to avoid this happening with my new Dell, I scanned with OTL and I believe that my computer is infected with a trojan-svchost virus (trojan-agent svchost-according to Malware bytes.
These are my logs from OTL.

Hi,

Your computer is infected with a rootkit called TDL. The removal is really hard and I will try to clean up your computer.

# Step 1 #

Please, reopen OTL.exe

  • Double click on the icon Posted Image to run it. Make sure all other windows are closed and to let it run uninterrupted.
  • Select All Users
  • In Extra Registry, select Use SafeList
  • Under the Custom Scan box paste this in
    netsvcs
    msconfig
    %SYSTEMDRIVE%\*.*
    %systemdrive%\drivers\*.exe
    %systemroot%\system32\drivers\*.* /90
    %PROGRAMFILES%\*.*
    /md5start
    explorer.exe
    winlogon.exe
    Userinit.exe
    svchost.exe
    /md5stop
    C:\Windows\assembly\tmp\U /s
    HKLM\SOFTWARE\CLIENTS\Startmenuinternet|command /rs
    HKLM\SOFTWARE\CLIENTS\Startmenuinternet|command /64 /rs
    CREATERESTOREPOINT
  • Click the Run Scan button. Do not change any settings unless otherwise told to do so. The scan wont take long.
  • When the scan completes, it will open two notepad windows. OTL.Txt and Extras.Txt. These are saved in the same location as OTL.
  • Please copy (Edit->Select All, Edit->Copy) the contents of these files, one at a time and post them in your topic

# Step 2 #

Download aswMBR.exe to your desktop.

Double click the aswMBR.exe to run it

Click the "Scan" button to start scan
Posted Image

On completion of the scan click save log, save it to your desktop and post in your next reply
Posted Image

# Step 3 #

I need to see the log generated by MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware.

  • Reopen MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware.
  • Go to the tab Logs, and copy & paste the entire report on your next reply.
  • Ps: Post all the latest logs.

# Step 4 #

Logs I need to see in your next reply:

  • OTL.txt and Extras.txt logs.
  • AswMBR report.
  • MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware logs.
