Just recently i had to rid the PC I used (MB problems), and switch to a back-up. Compaq to Dell and I wish I did sooner. I think the Compaq had 4 gigs of RaM, this Dell has 2 gigs. By far it is the fastest PC I ever touched. I observed somewhere, I forget where, that the start up was loaded. I wonder if someone can help me ID and turn off what isn't needed. I'd also say a good scan for spyware, maleware and viruses can't hurt, but I think I'm clean. I run Norton 2012 and I'm happy with it. I'd also like to find a free writting program with spell and grammar check.
