Hi, i have a windows 7 64 bit system and sometimes the computer will not wake ( with mouse or keyboard). I have to turn it off or restart it ( using the buttons) in order to wake it up. This seems to have started after i installed the latest Nvidia driver ( 296.10).

did you try rolling back the Nvidia driver...
nojoy...
try system restore...go back to a point before you were having issues with standby or hibernate
