issue on sony viao all in one computer monitor /screen

the monitor/screen on the all in one viao starts to flicker then goes out like it puts it self to sleep basicly goes all black out. to get my screen to work again i have to press the sleep button and press a key to wake up the monitor right after it wakes up the screen goes black again. not sure if its a virus issue i ran my protection software turned up nothing did a system restore and that worked for about 10 mins and the black outing restarted
