Tax Host Forced Shut Down Issue

The last 3 days, when I shut off my computer, as it powers down, I get a message saying Task Host is still running and I have to click a button that says "force shut down". This has never happened before but I recently subscribed to a program from emailfinder.com Could this be related? How do I get my computer to shut down smoothly?
