After starting up my computer today, I noticed that some of the graphics on right click menus are either corrupted or missing.

Does anyone know what would cause this, or how to fix it?

(OS is Windows XP, just to be clear)

Some possibilities here: Rebuild icon cache to fix incorrectly displayed icons

Under the section Recreate the Icon-Cache file by deleting it , you will need to change to the

C:\Documents and Settings\Your User Name\Local Settings\Application Data

directory then use attrib -h Iconcache.db to make the file visible so you can delete it.
