My pc makes randomly restarts without posting a BSOD ( as far as i know) and i cannot figure out what is causing this behavior.
I have this problem about a year and i already made a format but the problem still exists.
Just recently a found that i have one minidump file and i checked it and it seems that the problem is caused by this file "ntkrnlpa.exe".

One thing I do see is your date is for 3 days from now.

Please do the following if you can.

• Please download the Event Viewer Tool by Vino Rosso VEW and save it to your Desktop:
• Double-click VEW.exe
• Under 'Select log to query', select (as appropriate):
  
  • Application
  • System
• Under 'Select type to list', select (as appropriate):
  
  • Error
  • Information
  • Warning

Then use the 'Date of events' or 'Number of events' as follows:

Either:

• Click the radio button for 'Number of events'
  Type 3 in the 1 to 20 box (or any number from 1 to 20)
  Then click the Run button.
  Notepad will open with the output log.
  
  
• Click the radio button for 'Date of events'
  In the From: boxes type today's date (presuming the crash happened today) 05 03 2012
  In the To: boxes type today's date (presuming the crash happened today) 05 03 2012
  Then click the Run button.

First of all thanks for the quick answer.
Now to the problem.
I cannot run the VEW its says "VEW has not been coded for your language".
I don't knnow if this helps but i have the english version of Windows 7.

Nope two different issues it looks like from what I am seeing.
Please follow the steps below to enter the Event Viewer program in XP. This will give me more information into what is causing your issue.

Method One

• Go to
• Start
• In the Search box type in Event Viewer in the search box and press Enter
• From this point you can follow from step four from the below method as they will be the same.
Method Two

• Go to Start
• Right click on the Computer Icon and select Manage
• Navigate to the Event Viewer, You will be prompted to accept the action you are going to perform. Click continue
• On the left window pane click on Local and then expand the Windows entry. This will allow you to see every error for the past 24 hours as well as the last 7 days in the right window pane.
• Look for the ones that correspond to the times that your issue occurred.
• If any are found please double click and expand the error. This will open and give you more information on the error.
• Please include that in your next reply.

The system attempted to access pageable memory using a kernel process IRQL that was too high. The most typical cause is a bad device driver (one that uses improper addresses). It can also be caused by caused by faulty or mismatched RAM, or a damaged pagefile.

I'm going to go with the most obvious which is memory right now.

If you have more than one RAM module installed, try starting computer with one RAM stick at a time.

NOTE Keep in mind, the manual check listed above is always superior to the software check, listed below. DO NOT proceed with memtest, if you can go with option A

B. If you have only one RAM stick installed...
...run memtest...


1. Download - Pre-Compiled Bootable ISO (.zip). If you prefer to use the USB version then use this link USB KEY
2. Unzip downloaded /memtest86+-4.20.iso.zip file.
3. Inside, you'll find /memtest86+-4.20.iso file.
4. Download, and install ImgBurn: http://www.imgburn.com/
5. Insert blank CD into your CD drive.
6. Open ImgBurn, and click on Write image file to disc
7. Click on Browse for a file... icon:



8. Locate memtest86+-4.20.iso file, and click Open button.
9. Click on ImgBurn green arrow to start burning bootable memtest86 CD:



10. Once the CD is created, boot from it, and memtest will automatically start to run. You may have to change the boot sequence in your BIOS to make it work right.

To change Boot Sequence in your BIOS

Reboot the system and at the first post screen (where it is counting up memory) start tapping the DEL button
This will enter you into the Bios\Cmos area.
Find the Advanced area and click Enter
Look for Boot Sequence or Boot Options and highlight that click Enter
Now highlight the first drive and follow the directions on the bottom of the screen on how to modify it and change it to CDrom.
Change the second drive to the C or Main Drive
Once that is done then click F10 to Save and Exit
You will prompted to enter Y to verify Save and Exit. Click Y and the system will now reboot with the new settings.


The running program will look something like this depending on the size and number of ram modules installed:




It's recommended to run 5-6 passes. Each pass contains very same 8 tests.

This will show the progress of the test. It can take a while. Be patient, or leave it running overnight.

The most important item here is the “errors” line. If you see ANY errors, even one, most likely, you have bad RAM.

Sorry for the late answer but i had some problems with my internet connection.

To the point.
I do have 3 memory sticks (2x515MB + 1x1GB) and i've already done the memtest about 10 days ago with zero erros.
I will do the memtest again and for the A option i want to ask ,so to be sure,
how much is the mininum amount of memory so to run windows 7?

1 gig at minimum
I would take out the 1 gig stick and try it. Right now I am working under the assumption it is one or more of your memory modules and if I was to guess it would be the 1 gig module.

Another question.
Can i run properly windows visual studio 10 with only 1gb RAM? I need it for my work.

I doubt it to be honest. I would suggest running the test overnight when you are not using the system. That way the passes will be plenty enough to get a hones reading.

I've been working all day without the 1gb stick and my pc seems a litle slower but without any rebooting or crashes.
I've done the memtest over the night and again i got zero erros.
So i suspect the problem was with the 1gb memory stick.
I'll keep working like this a couple days and post again..

Just a suggestion but I would replace all the memory with new matched set to bring you to the 2 gig total you had before. To do this lets see what is the correct type and configuration you should be running.
Go to HERE and run the Crucial online scanner.
This will give you the exact memory configuration for your system.
You do not have to buy the memory from there, but write down the information and if you need assistance in purchasing the upgrade memory GTG can assist with suggestions also.

Next can you please check you date and time and make sure it is correct both in windows and in your bios.

Why are you asking that? do you suspect something?

I just noticed on your post first post on the 5th your date shows as the 8th in your log.
