For those of you kind enough to offer advice on this dilemma, the answer was....
OPEN THEM ON A MAC!

My friends figures that some of them were just a bad burn, but all together, I had 5 CD's with either all corrupt of some corrupt files.
He was able to copy them all over to a new disc and I have them loaded into my compute.

Now I can sort them out and burn them off for the customers who want them. Glad to have them back.

I did see that when you posted on your post 14..

However of course, it worked because on this occasion they were as you said


They are mainly PSD files made from her Mac




and was in fact the suggestion I made in my post 3.

Is it possible to see if the files will copy from the disc on a Mac O/S
