The issue mainly looks to be in standard OS files.
Since the log does not show which OS you have I am including the instructions for both XP and Win7 below

XP:

Go to

Start and then to Run
Type in Chkdsk /r Note the space between k and /
Click Enter ...It will probably ask if you want to do this on the next reboot...click Y
If the window doesn't shutdown on its own then reboot the system manually. On reboot the system will start the chkdsk operation
This one will take longer then chkdsk /f

Note... there are 5 stages...
It may appear to hang at a certain percent for a hour or more or even back up and go over the same area...this is normal...
DO NOT SHUT YOUR COMPUTER DOWN WHILE CHKDSK IS RUNNING OR YOU CAN HAVE SEVERE PROBLEMS
This can take several hours to complete.
When completed it will boot the system back into windows.

Reboot after your done running chkdsk /r...
then Go to Start...Run and type: eventvwr.msc press Enter
When Event Viewer opens, click on Applications... then scroll down to Winlogon and double-click on it. This is the log created after running Checkdisk...copy and paste the log back here

We will advise after studying the log.

Win7:

Tutorial for running chkdsk in Vista\Win 7 located HERE.

Done.

The first time I tried to scroll down quickly and I got a message that said that the event log was corrupt. The 2nd time I arrowed down slowly and was able to copy the log info:

when you say rerun the program do you mean checkdsk + event viewer. Or just event viewer?

I'm wondering if all of those errors is caused by looking at HD Surf Spot Cameras on Surfline with Google Chrome. Every time I do this google shuts down b/c of some data execution issue(which I've tried to fix unscuccessfully). I've attached a screenshot.

The new reading is below (looks a lot cleaner):

Just a thought but does it happen if you disconnect the camera and use Google Chrome?

I'm not using a camera. I'm just checking surf spots on surfline.com. They have HD cameras set up all over the world that stream live HD footage to their website. When I watch an HD cam in google chrome, I see the data execution error that I attached in the last email.

Not sure if it has anything to do with the blue screen. Just a thought.

Do you think my blue screen issue is fixed now or do I need to do anything else? I had heard of a blue screen being caused by laptops overheating due to clogged fans so I started to take apart my computer to air compress the fan but stopped when I couldn't figure out how to do it. I didn't want to make a bad situation worse!

What was actually wrong, what causes those errors, and how does the scan actually fix them?

it could be that the disk integrity was off which caused the errors. Have you tried to watch the cams again and if so did you get the errors again?

HD cams seem to be working ok now but that problem was intermittent as well so I'll keep an eye on it.

Anything else I need to do to mitigate a future blue screen at this point or will that scan disk do the trick?

I'm hoping the chkdsk cirrected the issue but as you said only time will tell. If it happens again please post the bsod associated with it so I can research the exact cause of that one.
