Hi I have a problem with my Dell Inspiron 5100 laptop, it wont connect to the internet. I am using a wireless connection. When I go into device manager under Non Plug N Play drivers it shows that IP Network Translator, Parport, Serial, and TCP/IP Protocol Driver all have a yellow exclamation signs next to them. I've already tried to use the command, netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt, nothing seemed to happen except a black box popped up and went away b4 I could read it. I am using microsoft windows deluxe professional edition version 2010 sp3 :help:

Prior to doing this please back up your registry with erunt.
http://www.larsheder...nline.de/erunt/

1. Download winsock.zip
Unzip it.
Right click on Winsock.reg, click "Merge".
Allow registry merge.

2. Restart computer.

3. Go to Start ==> Control Panel. Double-click Network Connections. Right-click Local Area Connection, and select Properties.

On the General tab, click Install a popup window opens.
Select Protocol from the list and then click Add.
A new window opens, click Have Disk....
In the browse... box type c:\windows\inf
Click OK.
Select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), and then click OK.
Restart and check the connection.

Attached File  Winsock.zip   269bytes   166 downloads

If you are still unable to connect please do the following.

Please download FarbarServiceScanner and run it on the computer with the issue.
http://download.blee.../farbar/FSS.exe

Make sure the following options are checked:
Internet Services
Windows Firewall
System Restore
Security Center/Action Center
Windows Update

Press "Scan".
It will create a log (FSS.txt) in the same directory the tool is run.
Please copy and paste the log to your reply.

I am using microsoft windows deluxe professional edition version 2010 sp3 :help:

This is a cracked copy of XP and you will not get any support further here unless the help you want is to remove this and put a legitimate copy of Windows on.
