Hi

I was hoping someone would be able to help me out.
I have a windows vista laptop that I can't get to connect to my home internet wirelessly. It will connect wired but wirelessly it does not recognise the password even though we have 3 other computers connected. They are however on Windows 7. We have tried changing the password and also formatting but this still doesn't work.

Any suggestions?

Thanks
Sue

Hello there and welcome to Geeks to Go!

My first suggestion would be to turn off the security on the router (temporarily) to check if it's a security issue or if this is something else. I come across a lot of wireless problems with mismatches between the router and the PC. Removing a factor all together is the easiest way to troubleshoot these kinds of things.

Regards,
Olrik
