I've done this before and it worked fine, but it's not working anymore...

I go onto my network and sharing center, I go to my adapter settings, I click the chosen adapter and go to "Properties" and then "Advanced" and then I change the value of "Network Address".

I then do the same thing and change the adapter's MAC Address using registry editor.

But when I go to Start -> Cmd -> getmac

My MAC address is still the same as it was before.

Why would you want to do this?

A MAC address is a unique number that doesn't need changing.
