hhhhmmm...bummer, I was afraid that's where all this was heading
well gonna find my software and drivers n such and back up some files then

THere is one final possible option

Download and install the MS update from here

This will update the root certificates and may just may repair the problem

nope, didn't work

didn't even think it open the file
it thought about it for a moment...but there wasn't any kinda program that started

I am sorry that we are unable to resolve this simply, but once the certificates are corrupted you are on a hiding to nothing
