Yo! Looks like it all went well! OS is on and backed up and all drivers updated, is looking good :thumbsup:

Ive installed microsoft security essentials for some protection, I am interested to find out your techniques to optimizing the ssd!
Apart from that, any more tips and tricks??

Sorry for the late reply, just built the pc and havent had a chance to get to it!
Thanks for the guide, i am happy to perform the steps knowing they are from a good source!
I will go through it when i get a chance!
Computers still running well, am really glad i decided to build!

I do not agree with every step in the guide. Before using the guide in Post #32. Read this, > http://thessdreview....zation-guide/2/ Please remember that tweaking can destroy your system so is carried out at your own risk. When you have finished a group of tweaks, create a clearly labelled drive image so you have a chance of recovery.


I would only reduce the size of System Restore, I think it too valuable to disable.
Pagefile. I would leave on, make the min and max the same.
Decrease shut down time. I would not apply.

I do not use nor recommend any type of, optimizers, auto reg adjusters, cleaners etc., they usually do your system a lot of harm. windows has nearly all the tools you need and you keep control.

I do use Revo uninstaller.
