A couple of days ago I started to get the same Aurora pop-ups from using IE. I followed the initial steps to cleaning malware off my computer.
I believe that I have gotten rid of the cause to the Aurora pop-ups, however I also noticed an icon for Party Poker appear on my desktop recently. I know I did not install anything like this on my computer intentionally, seeing as how I do not play poker.
However, I have deleted this icon from both the desktop and the file itself several times and it simply comes back.
This fact is starting to worry me that I have other things still on my computer that I cannot identify or locate. :tazz:

Here is my HJT Log

Welcome babers23 to Geeks to Go!

You are running HijackThis from the Desktop; please create a new folder for it and move the program into the new folder

Please download the Killbox.
Unzip it to the desktop but do NOT run it yet.

***

Download CleanUp!.
If that doesn’t work, use this link.
Don't run the program, we'll do that later.

Go to options
Select ‘custom’
Put a check to:* empty recycle bins
* delete prefetch files
* CleanUp! All users.
Press 'cleanup!'

Once it's done, press Close. Let the system reboot.

***

Make sure all programs and windows are closed. Run HijackThis and place a check next to the following items, if found, then click FIX CHECKED

O2 - BHO: WinStat - {F007E221-018D-4baf-924A-B0E9092F3853} - C:\WINDOWS\System32\WinStat11.dll

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Kasper Antivirus] KASPERANTIVIRUS.EXE

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [vagjlwn] C:\WINDOWS\System32\vagjlwn.exe

O15 - Trusted Zone: http://www.neededware.com

O16 - DPF: NDWCab - http://www.neededware.com/ndw2.cab

Close HijackThis.

***

reboot into Safe Mode by restarting your computer and pressing F8 as your computer is booting up. Then select the Safe Mode option.

Once in Safe Mode, please run Killbox.
Select "Delete on Reboot".
Place the following line (complete path) in bold in the "Full Path of File to Delete" box in Killbox:
C:\WINDOWS\System32\vagjlwn.exe
Put a mark next to "Delete on Reboot"
Click the red-and-white "Delete File" button. Click "Yes" at the Delete on Reboot prompt. Click "No" at the Pending Operations prompt.

***

Panda virus check
After downloading the ActiveX control, there are a list of options presented. The first checkbox (that should be ticked by default) 'Disinfect automatically'.
Safe the scanresult.

Post back here in this topic with a fresh log using HijackThis and the scanresult from Panda.

EDIT:
As there has been no reply from the original poster for more than two weeks this topic is now closed.
