I've done something wrong because my DVD Burner won't copy back to a blank DVD. I Have Windows 7 and the computer is 6 months old. I'm not sure if Nero Essentials was on the computer, don't remember seeing it. Now I'm in all sorts of trouble because when I had XP I had an NTI CD & DVD Maker program and for some reason (stupid) I decided to install it tonight but only the DVD part installed and I wanted the copy part. Then when I looked on the NTI disk it said for win 95 to XP, so I thought it isn't compatible with Windows 7 and I tried to uninstall it using "Revo uninstaller". there were just over 1000 files so took me ages to click on them all. when it was unistalling it seemed to be uninstalling Nero Essentials 10, I kept going. I noticed in the recycle bin something about an "engine", so have I deleted the engine for the DVD burner?. It reads okay and seems to be burning but won't copy back onto a blank DVD, then I have to hunt for the files to delete them. I'm trying to burn a movie my brother made of family and I wanted a copy, it's on a DVD. I have never used Nero but if that somehow had the "engine" on it to make my DVD burner work what should I do.Should I download Nero Essentials, I'm not even sure it's available for download free I mean. I'm so upset if I've wrecked my DVD.
Many thanks,
Joanelaine.
