I was trying to install a software and it asked to install
MS Net framework 4.0.
I already got MS Net framework 3.5 SP1 and
MS Net framework 4 client profile/client profile language.

Is it ok to install MS Net framework 4? what it will do?

Please reply.

Thank you

Different software uses different versions of the Framework.
It should not hurt the other versions you have.
Personally before installing any new system files I would suggest creating a Restore Point just in case something does go wrong.
