Let the guys here finish and when they are ready they can let you know. I would suggest they finish what ever they have you doing right now and send you over. We may be fighting a losing battle if it is indeed a infection causing this.

Hi John,

Did the programs catch something?

Can you please post a screenshot of the offending window?

Thanks.

To do a screenshot with the requested info showing on your screen please click on your Print Screen on your keyboard. It is normally the key above your number pad between the F12 key and the Scroll Lock key
Now go to Start and then to All Programs
Scroll to Accessories and then click on Paint
In the Empty White Area click and hold the CTRL key and then click the V
Go to the File option at the top and click on Save as
Save as file type JPEG and save it to your Desktop

Hi John,

Yes you did and the screenshot show me the source of the window is lgfw.exe a firmware update program.
Do you have a LG burner drive?

A program like that doesn't need to be running on every Startup you can simple disable it using msconfig

- click Start -> Run -> msconfig
- click on tab Startup
- locate the entry named LGODDFU and untick the box
- close msconfig and reboot, the Run As window should now be gone

Yes, I do have a LG Burner Drive.

Funny, I've had the Lg Drive for over a year
and this is the first time that box came up.

Anyway, that did the trick, the box is gone.
Hope when I use that drive again it doesn't come back.

Just want to thank you all for all the help.
I really do appreciate it, without you and this site,
I wouldn't be able to do this myself.......

John

@John: No problem, I'm glad we could help you fixing this.

@Rshaffer: I had luck catching the culprit some times isn't so easy :)
Also thank you for all the help.

SleepyDude, where did you see lgfw.exe in the posted screen shot? I must be going blind, as I don't see it.

Hi Ztruker,

Found your post only today because I was no longer monitoring this post...
On the screen shot I see the icon associated with the Run As window, I remember seen that icon when I use the Autoruns tool to open the autoruns.arn posted by the user.
